What we do

The issue

Whatever side of the new energy debate you are on, investment in new infrastructure is often perceived as prohibitively expensive and needs to be recovered from customers. However, many do not engage in reducing costs through engineering, or structural and financing innovation.

How we help

We work with end users and governments on providing cost effective energy solutions and introducing low cost global leaders. Our projects have introduced us to global technology providers and a range of leading engineering firms and stakeholders.

We also work to provide access to transportable energy such as green ammonia and green hydrogen which can help energy decarbonise and build new industries.

We work with developers to analyse, capital raise, refinance and expand or divest major projects.

Typical engagements include:

  • Feasibility/ FID financial analysis.
  • Detailed dynamic operational and financial models.
  • Stakeholder engagement (offtakers, NAIF, government).
  • Capital raising for greenfield projects - initial and final rounds.
  • Acquisition or divestment of brownfield projects.

Why we can help

01

Alternative energy experience

We have mandates with a range of alternative technologies and fuels including solar, wind, hydrogen, SAF, and green ammonia.

02

Active industry relationships

Our team has active industry relationships including governments, technology providers, developers, operators, offtakers, engineers, lenders’ engineers, legal advisors, landowners, off balance sheet specialists, and debt and equity providers.

03

Practical deal technology

We have built integrated operating and financial models that generate $/MW, LCOE, IRR, yields, ICR, etc, used in feasibility studies, business cases, FEED and FID studies, and information memoranda.

Impact from our projects

6.6m

Our renewable projects would add 6.6 million solar panels plus trackers in Australia.

4.75GW

Our renewable projects would add renewable energy capacity equivalent to c.10% of Australia’s National Electricity Market.

↓98Mt CO2

Combined direct and indirect emissions avoided when co-fired with downstream offtakers.

100%

Our renewable projects would offset emissions from homes in Australia for one year.

Natural Resources and Critical Minerals

Natural resources have always formed the foundation of human development—powering progress, enabling infrastructure, and fueling innovation. From the copper that wires our cities to the rare earth elements that make modern technology possible, these resources are indispensable in shaping our world. At Affinity Capital Group, we recognise that sustainable access to critical minerals is not just an economic imperative, but a vital component of global development and security.

As the world accelerates its transition to cleaner energy systems, the demand for critical minerals such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, and graphite is surging. These materials are the building blocks of electric vehicles, renewable energy technologies, and advanced battery storage—cornerstones of a low-carbon future.

Our commitment is to support projects and partners that responsibly develop our natural resources, ensuring they contribute not only to technological advancement, but also to environmental sustainability and long-term global prosperity.
